Aubrey's comedic writing and colorful visual style has been greatly influenced by the imagination and Americana of her childhood, having traveled to nearly 40 states in her family's motorhome before the age of 10. After graduating with High Honors in Film & Video and being awarded the Outstanding Achievement Award in Media Arts/Film by the faculty of the acclaimed Pratt Institute, Aubrey founded her own production company at the age of 21. After running Gingersnap NYC for 8 years, Aubrey decided to focus more on her passion for directing.
Aubrey's notable clients include Mark Ruffalo via The Solutions Project, Priyanka Chopra via ABC, Busy Philips via Campbell's Soup Well Yes!, Chef Daniel Boulud via Umami Burger, Amazon, Google, Grey Advertising, Pantene Pro-V, Colgate, Clorox, TJ Maxx, Glamour, and more.
Recently, Aubrey was a Grand Prize Winner for Moet Moment Film Festival sponsored by Moet & Chandon for her film "The Bout" and was a recipient of a $25,000 film grant. Aubrey won 1st Place for a Lipton Iced Tea spot and was runner-up for a Klondike spot, both via MoFilm's International commercial competition. Her short films have played in film festivals across the USA.
In addition to directing, Aubrey is a talented writer and editor. She has acted in her own films and studies improvisational comedy at Upright Citizens Brigade.
Aubrey is currently in development for her feature film, Ginger With a Snap.
